Am I the A-hole for needing my friends to rarely help me with tasks?

My roommates and I have been living together for about a year. We've made a terrible agreement where we each take turns doing the dishes, but lately, it feels like I'm always the one doing the work. Last week, my friend was super busy to do their share. I got really annoyed because they just didn't even notice. I told them that it was rude, and they started arguing. Now, they're saying I'm being a jerk. Am I really the asshole here?

Should I find new roommates?
